Duke MBA Health Care Conference Experience Published

In November, 2013, Duke Fuqua MBA Health Sector Management (HSM) students organized the Health Care Club's flagship event, our health care conference. 2013's title was - The Evolving Healthcare Landscape: Mind the Gap Between the Patient and the Healthcare System.

We brought in the CFO of Cardinal Health Jeff Henderson, and SVP of GSK Jorge Bartolome as keynote speakers. The panel discussions were very engaging and highly relevant to the challenges and opportunities facing the health care industry today. Students also had the opportunity to network with companies at the networking event in the evening. It was a fantastic experience and I enjoyed helping organize the conference as a cabinet member for the Health Care Club.
